MILAN (Italy) – The prestigious Italian University Bocconi announces an innovative collaboration with OpenAI, becoming the first Italian university to offer advanced artificial intelligence tools to its entire academic community.
The agreement marks a significant step towards transforming the educational experience, with the aim of improving teaching and research through the use of AI.
Equitable access to AI technologies
Thanks to this partnership, Bocconi students, faculty and staff will have access to cutting-edge artificial intelligence tools.
The initiative focuses on three main areas:
– AI for theory building and simulation: development of intelligent agents based on economic and managerial theories to simulate behaviors and conduct experiments.
– Conceptual measurement from unstructured data: Using advanced AI models to quantify abstract concepts such as scientific rigor and narratives.
– Personalizing the educational experience: creating intelligent assistants to support students in formulating and exploring research questions.
An impact on research and teaching
According to the rector of the Bocconi, Francesco Billari, this collaboration confirms the role of the university at the frontier of research and teaching, where artificial intelligence will contribute to improving the educational experience and shaping the decision-making processes of the future.
